Pray Until Something Happens.
Ito yung homily kanina sa parish church namin. Pag yung parish priest namin yung celebrant ng mass, sobrang nakikinig talaga ko. Yung iba kasing guest priests namin hindi ko maintindihan eh. Father Luciano is one of my favorites. Nakaka-inspire ng sobra yung mga homily niya. May comedy part pa minsan. He was from Argentina pero ang galing niya magtagalog. Friendly pa.
Pray Until Something Happens. It’s like saying ‘never give up’. Tama? I forgot the name of the man he included on his homily. Basta saint na siya. He wanted to be something which I can’t remember then but he had a poor brain, weak body, and really ugly. He has been rejected for so many times but with the help of prayers, he never gave up until he reached his goal.
Bottom line: he never gave up. Kahit gano karaming rejections yung natanggap niya, hindi siya nagdalawang isip sumuko. Prayers may be delayed at times but it’s very powerful. If you have a strong faith, then your prayers will be granted in God’s perfect time.
Everyone of us has dreams, wishes, goals, and all but some of us don’t realize that every time we wish, we are also praying. We keep on praying just to get what we want and sometimes, we feel that it will never happen. It’s just that you keep on praying but nothing happens.
I learned and realized from the homily that everything we are wishing for will happen in God’s perfect time. He knows everything. He planned the things that we’re experiencing. Our Almighty Father has a purpose. We just have to wait, keep believing, and never give up. 🙂
